A lot of us have allergies or dietary needs, but we still deserve treats! I get it and love to find ways to alter recipes to accommodate allergies or intolerances; however, for those with severe allergies, I do not have a gluten-free or nut-free kitchen. For requests for allergy or diet-friendly choices, please send me a message or give me a call at (612) 267-5495, and let me know what you are looking for. I’ll be more than happy to discuss meeting your needs!

Inside Out Cake

This cake is truly inside-out – you can see right through to the insides and all of the yummy fillings between three layers of your favorite flavor of cake. Mix and match, include your favorite add-ins and enjoy!

This cake is SO much fun because you can include almost anything that floats your boat and there’s no outside frosting to get in between you and your delicious cake!

Custom Number or Letter Cake

If you have a special birthday to celebrate or want to give someone a special message, you can do it in cake! Two layers of cake are delicately filled and topped with buttercream and customized decorations to match your color scheme.

Cakes are measured from top of number/letter to bottom. Prices are quoted depending on customization requested.

Strawberry Cake

There are no fake extracts or flavorings here – only fresh strawberries for the most delicious flavor!

Four layers of cake are made with strawberry puree’ and are filled with handmade vanilla whipped cream.  Topped with strawberry buttercream, chocolate ganache and chocolate-dipped fresh strawberries.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Bundt

This cake is out to prove that there is no such thing as too much chocolate and peanut butter!

Chocolate Bundt cake with a ribbon of peanut butter filling and Reese’s peanut butter cups baked in, topped with peanut butter and chocolate drizzle.

Baby’s Brown Butter Spice Cake 

This is the cake that made Dan fall in love with me! One slice and it was happily ever after.

Two layers of spiced pumpkin-vanilla cake with a browned butter buttercream filling and a deliciously nutty brown butter glaze. Topped with candied walnuts for the perfect crunch.

There’s Never Too Much Lemon Cake 

Three layers of lightly-lemony vanilla cake are just the start…between each layer is a ring of lemon mascarpone icing and a center of handmade lemon curd and the whole thing is iced with a light and airy ombre yellow lemon buttercream.

It’s like sunshine in your mouth!

Momma’s Friend Julie’s Slumber Party Cake 

When my momma and her best friend Julie were teenagers, they were obsessed with horses and this cake. On weekends, instead of getting into trouble or going to parties, they’d stay in, bake this cake and then probably talk about horses. I remember the first time Mom made it for us and I’ve loved it ever since.  I’ve added a few touches here and there, but this cake is rich, tangy and ridiculously good.

Three layers chocolate cake is made with Julie’s original recipe, topped with espresso buttercream frosting and chocolate ganache.

Apricot Cream Icebox Cake

Cake doesn’t have to be baked to be amazing – as a matter of fact, icebox cakes are a go-to during South Mississippi summers when you don’t want to turn on your oven, but you still want dessert! This one is an absolute favorite of mine and I think you’ll love it, too. 

A “crust” of macerated apricots holds two cold, creamy layers – the bottom layer is a decadent, vanilla cream cheese whipped cream and the top has more handmade whipped cream that’s been paired with apricots poached with cinnamon and bourbon.

Hummingbird Cake

If you like carrot cake or banana bread then you will LOVE this cake.  Originally created in Jamaica, this cake has become a Southern staple and is the moistest cake you can imagine.

Fresh pineapple, banana and toasted pecans fill this vanilla and cinnamon cake with deliciousness and cream cheese buttercream icing tops it all off.

And the rule is, if there’s fruit in the cake, you can have it for breakfast so you can enjoy this one any time!

Coconut Cake

I like coconut in cake and in cocktails – it’s a great day when I have a little bit of each in hand!

Three coconut cake layers, each slathered with handmade coconut cream filling, then iced with coconut buttercream frosting and topped with lots of toasted coconut.

Get me a fork and a coconut Negroni and I’m a happy woman!

Carrot Cake

My Momma’s favorite cake of all is carrot cake – she’d make or ask for it every April for her birthday. Every time I eat a slice, I feel like Spring is here and it’s okay to wear white shoes again.

Three, super-moist layers are filled with finely shaved carrot, pineapple, toasted coconut and walnuts, and is filled with delicious cream cheese icing and topped with more toasted coconut and nuts.

This cake has been called “the best cake I’ve ever had” by someone other than me!

Whoopie Pies

Cupcakes are good and all, but the ultimate hand-held dessert is the Whoopie Pie! Delicious cakey-cookies sandwich handmade filling and provide the perfectly unique alternative to cupcakes or donuts.

Red Velvet Whoopie Pies

Red Velvet cake is as Southern as it gets and these Whoopie Pies are my favorite way to eat it! Filled with handmade marshmallow cream cheese filling and gussied up with sprinkles, these are a fantastic alternative to cupcakes and about as tasty as it gets!

Rainbow Whoopie Pies

Delicious vanilla funfetti cakes sandwich a rainbow of handmade marshmallow cream cheese vanilla fluff! Topped off with a drizzle of chocolate ganache and then sprinkles are thrown at it. These taste great, but the important part is that 20% of the proceeds of every order of Rainbow Whoopie Pies will be donated to Rainbow Railroad – an organization who is saving lives of LGBTQI individuals who are persecuted by their governments all over the world.

Kentucky Bourbon Pineapple Upside-Downs 

Sometimes, you need a cake all to yourself!  These mini cakes are perfection. 

Each upside-down cake is made with the lightest vanilla cake and is baked with fresh pineapple, a maraschino cherry and Kentucky Bourbon caramel sauce, served on a doily.

Delightful and just a little spicy, just like my sister Annie – these crispy baked cheese straws are made with sharp cheddar and a dash of cayenne and are a standard favorite at Southern get-togethers.
